Whether you’re an Elf enthusiast, a thrill-seeker, or even a son of a Nutcracker, The Paramount’s 9th Annual Brew & Buddy Run presented in partnership with Kardinal Hall and Three Notch’d Brewing Company is sure to get you in the holiday spirit! Starting at the Theater at 4:00PM and making a loop around the Downtown area, the Run includes stops at Three Notch’d and Kardinal Hall for a beer at each brewery before returning to The Paramount for Elf on the Big Screen at 6:00PM. Plus, channel your inner Buddy the Elf and come dressed in festive gear—there will be a costume contest before the movie! Following their celebrated recent partnership in Giordano’s Fedora in the 2022–23 Live in HD season, Beczala reunites with soprano Sonya Yoncheva as Chénier’s aristocratic lover, Maddalena di Coigny, with baritone Igor Golovatenko as Carlo Gérard, the agent of the Reign of Terror who seals their fates. A member-only committee.   The Public Policy Committee serves as a legislative and regulatory think tank for the Chamber Board of Directors and the Chamber’s roundtables and councils. The committee helps inform advocacy efforts, reviews legislative activity, and may recommend actions to the Board. (Only the Board can decide if the Chamber takes a formal position. The Committee and Chamber do not endorse candidates.) This meeting will be held at the Center for Nonprofit Excellence (CNE), a hub dedicated to strengthening the nonprofit sector through training, resources, and collaborative opportunities. Members will have the chance to connect in this dynamic environment while contributing to the Chamber’s public policy discussions. In January 2026, the first new Met production of Bellini’s final masterpiece in nearly 50 years—a striking staging by Charles Edwards, who makes his company directorial debut after many successes as a set designer—arrives in cinemas worldwide. The Met has assembled a world-beating quartet of stars, conducted by Marco Armiliato, for the demanding principal roles. Soprano Lisette Oropesa and tenor Lawrence Brownlee are Elvira and Arturo, brought together by love and torn apart by the political rifts of the English Civil War, with baritone Artur Rucinski as Riccardo, betrothed to Elvira against her will, and bass-baritone Christian Van Horn as Elvira’s sympathetic uncle, Giorgio.
