Through our partnership with Germanna Community College, we are able to expand our dual enrollment offerings to satisfy requirements for MCHS students to have the opportunity to earn a 30 credit hour VCCS Uniform Certificate of General Studies (UCGS) upon high school graduation, which is widely accepted for degree credit across Virginia's universities. Many of our MCHS students could be in a very good position to earn a UCGS with what DE credits they've already earned or have planned for their junior/senior years. Please join us to learn more about the UCGS program and to see if it is a fit for you/your student. Information will be presented by Germanna representatives with MCHS counselors present to assist as needed. *If 2/18/26 were to be canceled due to inclement weather, 2/25/25 is the makeup date for this event.
