Just bring your clean clothing or textile items with holes, stains, or worn spots; or practice on our reclaimed textiles. First, Dmitri Shostakovich's 8th String Quartet (1960), one of the most popular string quartets for good reason. This gut-wrenching work was dedicated "to the victims of fascism and war”, and reflects Shostakovich's experience under an oppressive regime in the Soviet Union. Second, the quartet will perform Ludwig van Beethoven's 8th String Quartet (1808).
