Walt's Waltz is a compass and a megaphone for mental health support, education, and change. Please note: We must have a minimum of 10 present to hold a class. Please help by sharing this page with those who may be interested. Adult Mental Health First Aid Certification is a FREE, Virtual, those living in South Carolina funded by Prisma Health, their SAMHSA and presented by their community educater, Robyn Ellison. You must 18 and live/work in South Carolina to attend. Topics covered in this courses are listed below: * Depression and mood disorders * Anxiety disorders * Psychosis * Trauma * Substance use disorders and more Mental Health First Aid teaches about recovery and resiliency – the belief that individuals experiencing these challenges can and do get better, and use their strengths to stay well. After completion of this course you will receive a MHFA Manual, 3-year certification in Adult Mental Health First Aid 7.5 hours professional development, CEs, etc. for attendance. As a member of the Ambassador Committee, you are part of an integral Chamber resource. The Ambassador Committee is an organization of recognized Chamber representatives who call upon new and prospective members to provide information and to answer questions about the Chamber of Commerce, its programs, and its services. The Ambassador Committee serves as the public relations arm of the Chamber and makes up a large part of its word-of-mouth marketing. Ambassadors have a unique opportunity to bring community attention to their own companies, while at the same time enhancing the public relations and communication efforts of the Chamber of Commerce.   Participation in the Ambassador Committee will include the following activities: Active recruitment of new Chamber members and retention of existing members with Chamber facilitated approaches and materials Support of Chamber staff at events as greeters, registration/sign-in hosts, or facilitators Regular communication with Chamber members for business updates and member feedback Contacting Chamber members to inform of or invite to upcoming events Serve as a source of information on Chamber programs, products, services, and events Promote the Chamber in monthly communications with personal contacts and members of the community

The Buddy Center is an ABA clinic dedicated to supporting children with autism and other disabilities through compassionate, individualized care and a welcoming environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. The Buddy Center provides one-on-one ABA therapy for children, teens and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities throughout Greenville and the surrounding areas of South Carolina. ​Their goal is to support skill development, positive behavior, and greater independence in everyday life - across home, school, community, and clinic settings.
