This event connects employers with motivated job seekers who have been preparing for employment through Butler Tech’s Project SEARCH and Project LIFE programs. These programs support young adults with disabilities in developing workplace skills through internships, hands-on training, and career readiness instruction. Each candidate participating in the event has:• Completed structured workplace training and internships• Developed practical job skills in professional environments• Built strong work habits, reliability, and independence• Access to continued support from experienced job coaches and employment specialists Unlike a traditional job fair, candidates host their own tables and employers circulate through the room to meet them, review portfolios, and learn about their skills and interests. Monroe High School is seeking community volunteers to assist with mock interviews for Career & College Readiness students on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Volunteers will conduct in-person mock interviews lasting approximately 5–7 minutes each, with multiple interviews taking place during a 40-minute class period. Interview questions will be provided, and volunteers will be asked to offer constructive feedback to students after each interview. Mock interviews will take place during the following class periods: 2nd Period: 8:31–9:16 a.m.3rd Period: 9:20–10:05 a.m.4th Period: 10:09–10:54 a.m.5th Period: 11 a.m.–12 p.m. (held in Turvey’s classroom due to lunch in the café) Those interested in volunteering may sign up for one or more class periods using the Spring 2026 MHS Mock Interview Sign Ups link or email to share availability.
