The Tri-State Engineering EXPO will be held from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at White Plains High School. Click here to register. Engineering EXPO is a fun, hands-on learning event, free for all ages of students and adults, geared toward advising high school and middle school students about careers in all fields of Engineering and the path to get there. The doors open at 11am and the EXPO runs until 3:30pm at White Plains High School in White Plains, NY. Parking is free and food/beverages are available for purchase. For more information, please visit www.BeAnEngineer.org or find information on Facebook at “Tri-State Engineering Expo” and on Instagram “@tristateengineeringexpo" Chances are whatever you do today, an engineer had a role in it. Come find out how engineering impacts what we eat, how we work, play and learn, how we travel, communicate, and stay healthy at the Annual Tri-State Engineering EXPO. More than 100 engineering exhibitors are participating, including representatives from over 40 of the region’s leading learning institutions such as New York Institute of Technology, Clarkson, Rutgers, Syracuse, Army West Point, USMMA Kings Point, Manhattan, Princeton, Lehigh, SUNY, Cooper Union and many more local and regional colleges. All fields of engineering will be featured by various companies: Civil, Structural, Chemical, Electrical, Biomedical, Computer, Mechanical, Petrochemical, Environmental, Materials and Nuclear. The day is about exchanging experiences and beginning a path to a rewarding and fruitful career. Back by popular demand, the Middle School “EXPO Test Lab” provides an interactive experience for Middle School students to connect their education in Math and Science to real world applications. Engineering EXPO Founder and Organizer Malcolm G. McLaren, PE, Founder of McLaren Engineering, said “Engineering ranks number one in career opportunities for college graduates and I encourage parents of school-aged children, as young as middle school, to attend the Engineering EXPO to expose them to the field. Engineers play a key role in virtually everything we do. However, U.S. businesses are experiencing a shortage of engineers, with 85% saying they have difficulty filling engineering positions. Our country and economy need more trained engineers, and the EXPO is designed to help meet this demand by encouraging more students to pursue engineering studies”. If you have an aptitude and interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), April 12th at the Tri-State Engineering EXPO would be a Sunday very well spent.
