The East Aurora Art Society has generously sponsored the purchase of watering cans for a fundraiser in collaboration with the Friends of the Aurora Town Public Library. Each watering can will be hand-painted and embellished by a talented local artist. From March 9 through May 8, the watering cans will be displayed at the Aurora Town Public Library located on 550 Main Street. The community is invited to purchase votes to judge and earn a chance to win their favorite watering can. One vote is $1.00, or six votes are $5.00. All proceeds will benefit the Library.Winners will be drawn at random on May 8 at noon. Votes will be tallied to determine which watering can won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. The East Aurora Art Society has generously sponsored the purchase of watering cans for a fundraiser in collaboration with the Friends of the Aurora Town Public Library. Each watering can will be hand-painted and embellished by a talented local artist. From March 9 through May 8, the watering cans will be displayed at the Aurora Town Public Library located on 550 Main Street. The community is invited to purchase votes to judge and earn a chance to win their favorite watering can. One vote is $1.00, or six votes are $5.00. All proceeds will benefit the Library.Winners will be drawn at random on May 8 at noon. Votes will be tallied to determine which watering can won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
