WALDWICK “Yoga in the Park” 2018 SUMMER PROGRAM (Don’t forget drop in’s welcomed!) All Sunday Yoga in the Park classes take place at Boro Park, located at the end of Pennington Drive, off of Hopper Avenue at Pavilion A (Pavilion B - Aug. 19) Due to its popularity last summer, Yoga in the Park is back!! This program will combine three ancient practices of Yoga, Qi Gong, and Meditation to move the body and relax the mind. Classes will include gentle stretches, yoga poses and slow flowing movements of Qi Gong to improve the body's flexibility and strength. Additionally, meditation and simple breath work techniques will be included to help quiet the mind and help release stress! Classes will be geared toward beginners, with more advanced movements available for experienced yoga practitioners. The meditation practice is perfect for all levels! The program will take place on Sunday mornings from 9:30 am - 10:30 am during the summer months of June, July and August. Eight (8) classes will be led by a certified Yoga and Qi Gong Instructor at Borough Park's Pavilion A, located at the Park entrance. Participants are able to register early and sign up for all eight (8) classes at a cost of $35 or pay $5 per class as a “walk-in”. A Senior Citizen Discount (62+) is available at a cost of $30. Each participant registered will be charged a non-refundable registration fee. Pre-registration is required to sign up for the full program. Walk-Ins can pay at Borough Park by Cash (exact change) or Check payable to the “Borough of Waldwick. Pre-Registration - All eight (8) sessions: $35 Senior Discount: $30 Walk-Ins: $5 per class Participation Requirements: You are required to bring your own yoga mat, water and towel. Come 15 minutes early for set up. Wear comfortable clothing and eat lightly prior to class.
