Join us and Lisa George for a class on Ageless Grace Neuroplasticity Exercises. The Ageless Grace Brain Health Program is based on consciously choosing to change the brain through physical movements similar to playful childhood activities that fired neurons and developed neural pathways from birth to mid-teens. All 21 Simple Tools for Lifelong Comfort and Ease can be practiced by almost anyone of any age or ability. The exercises are designed to be practiced seated, in order to stimulate the five primary functions of the brain (strategic planning, memory and recall, analytical thinking, creativity and imagination and kinesthetic learning) by doing unfamiliar movements, or creating new ways to do an activity that is already familiar. The movements are spontaneous and organic, with no need to learn any special choreography. Each of the brain-changing tools also focus on a primary physical skill necessary for lifelong optimal function (i.e. joint mobility, balance, spinal flexibility, upper body strength, coordination) - and all promote the “Three R’s” of Ageless Grace, the ability to respond, react and recover.

Participants should be dedicated to play, and be willing to give input on the world, system, and story created by the group as well as choosing a player to take up the role as GM. Depending on what the group chooses, the host has 5 systems they can pick on what they find will fit the campaign better. Final decisions will be made by the host. Expect to spend about 4 hours per session.Please respond to the registration email so that some pre-planning can take place. This first meet-up will be building the world and setting expectations. January 31st game play will begin in earnest and will take place every other Saturday at 11:00am. There are two sections to this clinic. If you're a beginner to yoga, chair yoga is a great option for you. All yoga postures will be done seated or standing using a chair for support and balance.  A well-rounded variety of yoga poses will be used to increase strength and flexibility, reduce stress, reduce pain & clear the mind. Join us for a special sneak preview performance of A Midsummer Night's Faery Tale from the NorthWest Michigan Ballet Theatre with original choreography from NMBT Artisitic Director, Thomas Morrell. Based on a magical collaboration between the doll and puppet maker Wendy Froud and the award-winning author Terri Windling.Space is limited for this event, though we will open up the Youth StoryRoom for additional viewing via livestream.
