If you're a beginner to yoga, chair yoga is a great option for you. All yoga postures will be done seated or standing using a chair for support and balance.  A well-rounded variety of yoga poses will be used to increase strength and flexibility, reduce stress, reduce pain & clear the mind. Many options will be offered for each pose to appeal to different goals and capabilities.

Whether you're a Jane Austen fan, a Bridgerton enthusiast, or simply interested in history, this class will be a fun evening of dancing suitable for any Regency ballroom.  You will learn a little social etiquette as you dive into some English Country dance.  No partner is necessary, much like the Bennet sisters, we shall see who arrives and dance the night away!  Wear clothing that is easy to move in and don't be shy about breaking out the flowing skirts or cravats as you vibe with your Austenite/Bridgerton style.Registration is Required as space is limited. Who is teaching?Anna Beard, a northern Michigan native, is a giant nerd for all things history.  She has been dancing since she was about four years old, which continued through getting her BFA in Dance from the University of Michigan.  Her interest in historical dance began as a teenager, performing at local madrigal dinners as well as the Michigan Renaissance Festival, and has only persisted and deepened.  Anna has taught historical dance all over the country and loves to facilitate a little "time travel" as we look back at how people moved, socialized, and found joy in their movement expression.

Join us and Lisa George for a class on Ageless Grace Neuroplasticity Exercises. The Ageless Grace Brain Health Program is based on consciously choosing to change the brain through physical movements similar to playful childhood activities that fired neurons and developed neural pathways from birth to mid-teens. All 21 Simple Tools for Lifelong Comfort and Ease can be practiced by almost anyone of any age or ability. The exercises are designed to be practiced seated, in order to stimulate the five primary functions of the brain (strategic planning, memory and recall, analytical thinking, creativity and imagination and kinesthetic learning) by doing unfamiliar movements, or creating new ways to do an activity that is already familiar. The movements are spontaneous and organic, with no need to learn any special choreography. Each of the brain-changing tools also focus on a primary physical skill necessary for lifelong optimal function (i.e. joint mobility, balance, spinal flexibility, upper body strength, coordination) - and all promote the “Three R’s” of Ageless Grace, the ability to respond, react and recover.
