Join us for a free specialized yoga practice open to everyone who has been touched by cancer.A special invitation is extended to caregivers and health care professionals.This program is for people 12 Space is limited and registration is required.No prior experience is required. Please bring a mat, a blanket, bolter or pillow, yoga blocks (if you have them), and dress in comfortable clothing. Yoga4cancer is a research based, specialized yoga methodology addressing the specific physical and emotional needs left by cancer and its treatments. Because all yoga is not the same, finding the right yoga teacher is the best first step. Y4C classes are always taught by certified Y4C teachers with knowledge and awareness of the special needs of cancer patients and survivors. Yoga4cancer will help you:maintain a strong immune systembuild muscle strength, improve your bone densitycreate self confidencefind solutions for treatment side effectsreduce stress and improve sleepgive you a sense of well-being, cultivate hope and provide a supportive community
