Coastal Concerts Hiring Executive DirectorLead the Future of Classical Music in Sussex County!Coastal Concerts seeks an Executive Director (ED) to guide its nonprofit mission and energize the growing organization in Sussex County.The ED will manage daily administrative operations, concert logistics, artist relationships, community outreach, and board relationships. Reporting to the Board President, the ED will help promote classical music appreciation through live concerts, outreach, and education. To be successful in this role, you must have proven leadership, relationship-building and communication abilities, and must be detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time.This is a flexible 30-hour per week, work-at-home position, and the candidate must be available to work 5-6 Saturdays per year at each of the concerts. This April, the Rehoboth Art League presents two exciting new exhibitions. On view from April 3 to May 3 are “Revolutionary: Members’ Juried Theme Show,” and “Literary Allusions: Work by international fiber group, 20 perspectives.” On the evening of April 3rd from 5-7 pm, the art league will host an opening reception for its two new exhibitions, inviting anyone interested to visit the Corkran, and Tubbs galleries to see these new shows.The Corkran Gallery will showcase “Revolutionary: Members’ Juried Theme Show,” explores various interpretations of revolution, from social and political turmoil to artistic innovation and personal transformation. It could focus on historical revolutions, contemporary social movements, or even the concept of revolution within an individual’s life. The Rehoboth Art League welcomed its members to interpret their own ideas of what revolutionary means to them. This exhibition has been made possible in part by a grant from Delaware 250.The Tubbs Gallery will feature “Literary Allusions: Work by International Fiber Group: 20 Perspectives.” Artists were prompted to take inspiration from literature, poems, or song lyrics and interpret the words or phrases through their own visual or cultural perspectives. Each piece transforms words into vivid expressions of color, form, and texture, whether abstract or figurative. Viewers will find that some of the works illustrate the quote, while others reflect universal or intensely personal thoughts and meanings. Techniques used include lettering, painting, dyeing, and collaging, utilizing commercial or hand dyed fabric.The league invites the public to an opening reception for all three shows on Friday, April 3, from 5-7 pm. The exhibitions are free and open to everyone during the regular gallery hours of Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm, and Sunday, noon to 4 pm. The Rehoboth Art League is supported, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. This April, the Rehoboth Art League presents two exciting new exhibitions. On view from April 3 to May 3 are “Revolutionary: Members’ Juried Theme Show,” and “Literary Allusions: Work by international fiber group, 20 perspectives.” On the evening of April 3rd from 5-7 pm, the art league will host an opening reception for its two new exhibitions, inviting anyone interested to visit the Corkran, and Tubbs galleries to see these new shows.The Corkran Gallery will showcase “Revolutionary: Members’ Juried Theme Show,” explores various interpretations of revolution, from social and political turmoil to artistic innovation and personal transformation. It could focus on historical revolutions, contemporary social movements, or even the concept of revolution within an individual’s life. The Rehoboth Art League welcomed its members to interpret their own ideas of what revolutionary means to them. This exhibition has been made possible in part by a grant from Delaware 250.The Tubbs Gallery will feature “Literary Allusions: Work by International Fiber Group: 20 Perspectives.” Artists were prompted to take inspiration from literature, poems, or song lyrics and interpret the words or phrases through their own visual or cultural perspectives. Each piece transforms words into vivid expressions of color, form, and texture, whether abstract or figurative. Viewers will find that some of the works illustrate the quote, while others reflect universal or intensely personal thoughts and meanings. Techniques used include lettering, painting, dyeing, and collaging, utilizing commercial or hand dyed fabric.The league invites the public to an opening reception for all three shows on Friday, April 3, from 5-7 pm. The exhibitions are free and open to everyone during the regular gallery hours of Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm, and Sunday, noon to 4 pm. The Rehoboth Art League is supported, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. This April, the Rehoboth Art League presents two exciting new exhibitions. On view from April 3 to May 3 are “Revolutionary: Members’ Juried Theme Show,” and “Literary Allusions: Work by international fiber group, 20 perspectives.” On the evening of April 3rd from 5-7 pm, the art league will host an opening reception for its two new exhibitions, inviting anyone interested to visit the Corkran, and Tubbs galleries to see these new shows.The Corkran Gallery will showcase “Revolutionary: Members’ Juried Theme Show,” explores various interpretations of revolution, from social and political turmoil to artistic innovation and personal transformation. It could focus on historical revolutions, contemporary social movements, or even the concept of revolution within an individual’s life. The Rehoboth Art League welcomed its members to interpret their own ideas of what revolutionary means to them. This exhibition has been made possible in part by a grant from Delaware 250.The Tubbs Gallery will feature “Literary Allusions: Work by International Fiber Group: 20 Perspectives.” Artists were prompted to take inspiration from literature, poems, or song lyrics and interpret the words or phrases through their own visual or cultural perspectives. Each piece transforms words into vivid expressions of color, form, and texture, whether abstract or figurative. Viewers will find that some of the works illustrate the quote, while others reflect universal or intensely personal thoughts and meanings. Techniques used include lettering, painting, dyeing, and collaging, utilizing commercial or hand dyed fabric.The league invites the public to an opening reception for all three shows on Friday, April 3, from 5-7 pm. The exhibitions are free and open to everyone during the regular gallery hours of Monday through Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm, and Sunday, noon to 4 pm. The Rehoboth Art League is supported, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.
