The Authority is responsible for ensuring that the program operates efficiently, transparently, and in compliance with state law, while providing critical income-replacement benefits to eligible workers across Connecticut.In this presentation, staff from the Connecticut Paid Leave Authority will provide a comprehensive overview of the program, including eligibility requirements, qualifying events, benefit calculations, and timelines. Attendees will learn how to access the system, submit an application, navigate the approval process, and understand their rights and responsibilities as eligible workers.
