Webinar: Pollinator Victory Gardens with Kim Eierman from Teatown Lake Reservation
Webinar, NY, 10562, United States (map)
Kim Eierman, founder of EcoBeneficial, local author, ecological designer, and longtime friend of Teatown, presents a native plant webinar featuring her latest book The Pollinator Victory Garden.  With pollinators in steep decline she offers insight on how best to combat this trend with ecological gardening. Unfortunately, most of our landscapes offer little in the way of appropriate habitat and forage. With simple strategies, you can become a garden warrior and attract and support not just bees, but an array of pollinators. For adults. Via Zoom This program is generously funded through the Westchester Community Foundation. Programs require pre-registration. If online registration is not available, call (914) 762-2912 x110 to register. Register  About KimBased in New York, Kim teaches at the New York Botanical Garden, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, The Native Plant Center in NY, Rutgers Home Gardeners School and several other institutions.  Kim is an active speaker nationwide on many ecological landscape topics, presenting for industry conferences, “green events,” Master Gardener groups, garden clubs, nature centers, Audubon Society chapters, beekeeping groups, and other organizations interested in environmental improvements.  Kim also provides horticultural consulting and landscape design to homeowners and commercial clients.
