Saw Mill River Audubon volunteers will, once again, be staffing a Project Feeder Watch gathering every Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 am to 12 noon, at the Croton Point Park Nature Center.  SMRA will be providing the bird seed as well!  Stop by anytime to assist with this citizen science project that IDs and counts birds visiting bird feeders.  (Learn more about this international project that you can also do at your feeders by visiting www.feederwatch.org.) Hot beverages and probably even some light refreshments available. Friendly and casual way to learn more about our local birds and meet up with people from Saw Mill River Audubon. All are welcome and no registration needed!

Saw Mill River Audubon's 2025 Best Photos program will be held Wednesday, December 10, 7:00 pm at the Chappaqua Library.  Area photographers are invited to submit nature photography of birds, other wildlife, plants and landscapes, and, if their photos are selected, are also asked to say a few words about their images. To submit images for consideration, visit www.sawmillriveraudubon.org/best-photos This annual curated presentation is always a showcase of beautiful nature images from Westchester, across New York and from around the world.  The Audubon Best Photos presentation and the holiday dessert potluck after the presentation are both free and open to the public. (You are invited to bring a holiday dessert to share at the potluck, but you are also welcome to come empty-handed and just enjoy the desserts from others!)  Co-sponsored by Chappaqua Public Library.
