Garden Discoveries: Feathered Friends in Winter from Van Vleck House & Gardens
Online Only! (map)
Our virtual Garden Discoveries classes are designed to inspire young children about the natural world around them. Since each child learns in a different way, every class examines one topic through stories, outdoor exploration (done in your own backyard), and hands-on activities. Each class will begin with a Zoom Circle Time and story, as well as a guided activity and Q&A period. At the conclusion of our virtual class (approximately 20-25 minutes), students are encouraged to go outside with a parent or caregiver to complete an outdoor activity related to the topic of the day. Activity Kits will need to be picked up at Van Vleck House & Gardens prior to the class. To register: Click Here
