About Us
The Junior Woman’s Club of Verona, Inc. is a versatile organization that has been involved in social and charitable work in the community since its inception in 1926. In addition to raising funds for scholarships and donations to support community services and activities such as the Verona Rescue Squad, Public Library and Recreation Department, the Juniors have undertaken many and varied projects. We have spearheaded community improvement projects such as the Community Center Playground, the Children’s Room at the Verona Public Library, and placing benches on Bloomfield Avenue. The Verona Junior Woman’s Club continues to be a group of dedicated young women who attempt to reach all people in the community by doing their best to bring to life the Junior Woman’s Club motto of “Joy in Service — Pride in Achievement.”
