Tours of the Museum and Historic Church at St. Paul's from Saint Paul's Church National Park
We are pleased to offer tours of the museum and of the historic church, Monday to Friday, at the following times: 10 AM, 12 Noon, 2 PM and 4 PM.  These are reservation tours, of 45-minute duration. In the museum, the current feature exhibition is, "The Emergence of a National Historic Site: St. Paul's Between the World Wars". Other displays explore the American Revolution and the Lenape, the original inhabitants of the St. Paul's area.  In the church, visitors observe and learn about the significance of original appearance of 1787, and also gain an appreciation of the use of the edifice as a military field hospital during the Revolutionary War. Other features include the 1830 Erben, one of America's oldest working pipe organs.  Brief recitals are avilable upon request.  Please use the  https://www.recreation.gov website for advance reservations, and please arrive ten minutes before your scheduled tour time.     In addition, self-guided tours of the grounds and historic cemetery, weather and conditions permitting, are available Tuesday to Saturday, 10 AM - 4 PM.  Reservation are not required for the self guided tours of the grounds. We are pleased to offer tours of the museum and of the historic church, Monday to Friday, at the following times: 10 AM, 12 Noon, 2 PM and 4 PM.  These are reservation tours, of 45-minute duration. In the museum, the current feature exhibition is, "The Emergence of a National Historic Site: St. Paul's Between the World Wars". Other displays explore the American Revolution and the Lenape, the original inhabitants of the St. Paul's area.  In the church, visitors observe and learn about the significance of original appearance of 1787, and also gain an appreciation of the use of the edifice as a military field hospital during the Revolutionary War. Other features include the 1830 Erben, one of America's oldest working pipe organs.  Brief recitals are avilable upon request.  Please use the  https://www.recreation.gov website for advance reservations, and please arrive ten minutes before your scheduled tour time.     In addition, self-guided tours of the grounds and historic cemetery, weather and conditions permitting, are available Tuesday to Saturday, 10 AM - 4 PM.  Reservation are not required for the self guided tours of the grounds. Open to the public of all ages! This group loves to knit, crochet, and do needlework! If you are interested in joining this great group, bring your personal project or join them as they create items for different charitable organizations. Some examples- They create lap robes and chemo caps for those going through Chemo at the Meridian John Theurer Cancer Center in Hackensack.They crochet hats for kids in Paterson.They create Baby Blankets for The Lighthouse right here in Hawthorne. They also will accept donations of Yarn!One must have basic knowledge of knitting, crocheting, or needlework as this is NOT a teaching class.

Join us for view and reflect on ten topics that explore the greatest in American musicals. We promise you will leave our sessions with your toes tapping and a song in your heart. Each session will be presented on the first Monday of the month at 3pm (unless otherwise noted) by Sam and Candy Caponegro via Zoom.  Register online.
