Do you or someone you know need help connecting with local resources offering food, housing, services for older adults, or employment assistance? Our social work consultant is available twice a week for drop-in visits to provide help to community members looking for information, resources, and referrals to local agencies for assistance with a variety of basic needs. Stop by the library on Mondays from 1-3 p.m. or Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon to meet with Lexi and get the help you need. Our service is free and confidential.

Our next session of Teen Dungeons & Dragons begins June 10! Join us every Wednesday from June 10 through August 12 from 2-3:30 p.m. for adventure, mystery, and magic! Unwind and escape into a new world while meeting and socializing with others who enjoy role-playing games. Ages 13-17 are welcome. No registration is required. Rules, dice, pencils, and pre-made characters will be available. All you need to bring is your imagination and spirit of cooperation! We will be playing using the 5th Edition (2014) rules. School’s out! Now what? Join financial advisor Robyn Lings from Cedar & Sage Financial for a FREE program about how budget-minded families can still have fun this summer! She’ll share practical ideas for low-cost activities, simple planning tips, ways to avoid “summer spending creep,” and strategies to make the most of your time together without over-scheduling or overspending. This program will be held Wednesday, June 10 at 5:30 p.m. and Thursday, June 18 at 10:30 a.m. so you can pick the time that works best for your schedule. The June 18 session is specifically geared toward grandparents and caregivers providing childcare during the summer months. Attendees will leave with a helpful list of local family-friendly events, free activities, and community resources to use all summer long.
