Our traditional Christmas Eve Service highlights the reason for the season–the story of Jesus’ birth! Family friendly, featuring familiar carols, and closing in candlelight, it’s the perfect way to experience God’s greatest gift and the wonder of Christmas.

Kids’ New Year’s Eve Party at Alpine Valley!  Wednesday, December 31st, 2025 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM | Edelweiss Room Ring in the New Year with a night full of fun, crafts, pizza, a movie, a balloon drop, and sparkling juice! This event is for children 5+ who are fully potty trained. Parent Info: Parents must sign children in and out of the room. Staff do not accompany children to the restroom — parents are responsible for assisting if needed. Please complete all emergency contact information. If Alpine Valley calls and there is no answer after two attempts, Guest Services will be contacted. If necessary, the sheriff’s department may be called to locate you. A memory cafe is a place where people with MCI (Mild Cognitive Impairment), early stage Alzheimer's or related dementia can go with their care partners to socialize and have fun with other people going through similar things. A memory cafe has no real agenda or stated purposes except to enjoy each other's company. Cafes provide a time where you do not need to focus on the diagnosis, while having a great time connecting with each other as a family or creating new friendships. DURING THE LIBRARY'S RENOVATION, MEMORY CAFE WILL MEET AT THE SOUTHERN LAKES MEMORY PROJECT LOCATED AT 20 N. CHURCH STREET IN ELKHORN.
