["Wisconsin students in grades 3-8 and grade 10", " will be participating in the Wisconsin Forward assessment during the March 16th to April 24th testing window. State assessments", " including the Forward Exam", " are required by both State (Wis. Stat. § 118.30) and Federal ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) (Every Student Succeeds Act) Law. Our school district is scheduled to take the Forward assessment starting on March 18th. The Wisconsin Forward Exam is a test mandated by the state", " designed to gauge how well students are performing in relation to our state standards. Wisconsin Students in Grades 3-8 will be participating in the English Language Arts and Math assessments. Students in grades 4 and 8 will participate in the Science exam", " and students in grades 4", " 8", " and 10 will participate in the Social Studies Exam. One or more subtests may be administered daily during our selected time frame. Students not in school on testing days will be scheduled for a make-up test prior to the close of the testing window. The Wisconsin Forward assessment measures the knowledge and skills students should have for their grade-level. Students’ performance on the assessment will not affect their grades.
