In the Spring of ’22 … five, young at heart old souls crossed paths and after picking themselves up from that cosmic collision, proceeded to create a new band. Rewind is dedicated to bringing a present day energy to many of the songs we were fortunate enough to grow up, down and sideways with during our “wonder years” and beyond. With an emphasis on vocal harmonies and complimentary acoustic, electric and electronic instrumentation, this group covers a lot of musical ground, including their unique takes on many smile-evoking tunes from the worlds of rock, soft rock, country, bluegrass, jazz and reggae. Our definition of “retirement” is to get a new set of tires to keep us rockin’ and rollin’. Thank you to DLC Management and all our community music supporters!

Rebecca Jaymes was raised in Pleasant Valley, New York. She picked up her first instrument at age three, the violin, and was classically trained on both violin and piano before exploring formal training for her voice. Rebecca graduated from Frost School of Music at the......More

Rebecca Jaymes was raised in Pleasant Valley, New York. She picked up her first instrument at age three, the violin, and was classically trained on both violin and piano before exploring formal training for her voice. Rebecca graduated from Frost School of Music at the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Music in Studio Music and Jazz Vocal Performance, and studied under Dr. Kathryn Reid. After graduating with honors from Frost, Rebecca performed 6 nights a week on board the Navigator of the Seas for Royal Caribbean as the featured jazz vocalist. Since then, she has accumulated over 20 years of gigging experience, including performances at The Carlyle Hotel, The Bitter End, and Caffe Vivaldi in New York City. Rebecca moved to Seattle in 2021 and is thrilled to pick up her vocal career again with the wonderful musicians she has met in the area.
