Join us for a festive summertime floral workshop with award-winning florist Cassandra Solmonsen! Set against the farm’s summer landscape, participants will delve into the art of floral design using locally-sourced blooms, ensuring a sustainable and vibrant creation. The workshop will cover essential lessons in color theory and design principles, equipping you with the knowledge to create your own stunning arrangements–and a floral centerpiece to take home!  All necessary supplies, including floral sheers, vessels, and armatures, will be provided. This afternoon of floral creativity and community is perfect for anyone who loves flowers, enjoys connecting with nature, or wants to learn a new creative skill. About the Instructor: Cassandra Solmonsen spent her childhood running barefoot through the forest, much to her parents’ chagrin, fascinated by the deep greens of the moss, the bright white of the trillium, and the jewel tones of the salmon berries. This love for nature, especially locally grown PNW flowers and greenery, has only grown in the three decades since. Her work focuses on embracing the natural beauty of blooms and designing organic pieces that represent this wonderful place we get to call home.

ArtWalks and Music Strolls transform downtown Issaquah into an open-air gallery and music venue. On these evenings, local artists display their work in shops, galleries, and public spaces while live musicians perform throughout downtown, creating a lively, walkable experience that invites people to linger, explore, and connect. The event supports Issaquah’s creative community by giving artists and musicians real visibility and meaningful opportunities to share their work. It brings new energy and foot traffic to downtown businesses during evening hours. ArtWalks and Music Strolls strengthen Issaquah’s identity as a place that values creativity, supports local talent, and believes that art and music honor and preserve the downtown culture. Take a stroll down the historically hip Downtown Issaquah at the ArtWalk & Music Stroll. Discover local treasures, shop handmade artisan gifts, and listen to live music as Front Street transforms into an avenue of outdoor performances in Olde Town Issaquah. The Artwalk and Music Stroll happens all summer long: May 9, June 13, August 8, and September 19 from 5 pm-8 pm. The Historically Hip Artisan Market will be front and center. The summer-long celebration of Issaquah’s bevy of local artists offers a cultural boon for both locals and visitors to enjoy the best of what Downtown Issaquah has to offer. How it works Find Your Team: Scan the dome to find your heritage, your favorite team, or a country you love, spelled out in giant block letters Grab a Marker: Choose the colors you need. Color the World: Fill in the Letters using the bold patterns and colors of that nation's flag. Once completed, our collective work will portray a beautiful, brilliant symbol of Issaquah's diverse international community. Art concept by Ekta Gupta.

  The Downtown Issaquah Association (DIA) is pleased to announce the 19th Annual Fenders on Front Street  Classic Car Show on Sunday, June 21, 2026. This Father’s Day, hundreds of classic and vintage car owners from across the state will proudly show their vehicles along Front Street in historic downtown Issaquah. The car show is free to attend with a suggested donation of $20 per family. Donors receive a commemorative dash plaque, which can be picked up at the Historic Shell Station. This year, DIA is pleased to be partnering with Life Enrichment Options (LEO), a non-profit dedicated to supporting adults with developmental disabilities, to provide a day of fun and entertainment for these individuals. The classic car show begins at 8:00 am and runs until 3:00 pm. Motorcycles are also welcome! Fenders on Front Street attracts thousands of visitors from all over the state and beyond, who stroll along Front Street admiring beautiful vintage and classic cars and motorcycles. Bring your dad out to historic downtown Issaquah, where you can expect a fun-filled family day with live music, food trucks, vendors, a kids’ scavenger hunt, and an awards ceremony. If you own a classic or vintage car, register your car (suggested $20 donation) to participate in the car show. All makes, models, and years are welcome at the show. Donations benefit the Downtown Issaquah Association and Life Enrichment Options (LEO) organizations and help cover event expenses. ABOUT LIFE ENRICHMENT OPTIONS (LEO) LEO was born in 1988 out of the need of mothers of young adults with developmental disabilities. As their children were leaving the safety net of the Issaquah school district, there was very little to look forward to in the way of activities and services in the community. These women were determined that their children would live as “normal” a life as possible. They had a dream of employment, a social network with friends, and independent living for their children. Today, over 30 years later, LEO has made significant progress in developing housing, programs, and activities for individuals with developmental disabilities. And we remain dedicated to making dreams a reality.
