Learn more about the birds at the Bellevue Botanical Garden. Join Eastside Audubon for a monthly walk that explores the birds and their habitat in the Garden. This one-mile walk will be on trails with various surfaces and may include gravel, mulch, or pavement. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. Parking in the lot is free. From the parking lot enter the garden through the breezeway and turn left. Meet your guide in the covered Gathering Place. This walk is for any level of birder and no experience is necessary. Bring binoculars if you have them. There will be some available to loan for the walk. Each walk is $5 per person. Registration is required.

Nature journaling is a great way to connect with the natural world through curiosity and observation. This free adult program welcomes both beginners and experienced journalers. Each session begins with brief guidance, followed by time to explore the Garden and journal, then gather to share observations. Please bring a dedicated journal and something to write with. Registration is recommended but not required. This session will meet in the outdoor classroom and we will walk to the Ravine Bridge. Join us every first Saturday of the month for nature journaling club! This free program introduces kids aged 6-14 and their chaperones to nature journaling, inspired by John Muir Laws. We’ll start indoors with a prompt, then head outside to journal before regrouping to share discoveries. Bring a blank notebook and a pencil. You are welcome to attend without registration, but please be on time for the 12:00 pm start. Kids 6-11 must be accompanied by an adult those 12+ need a waiver. Dress for the weather.
