Are you working on a novel, short story, blog, or any kind of writing project? Need a quiet place and a little motivation to help you stay focused? Shut Up & Write â Springfield is a free, low-pressure writing group for writers of all kinds and all levels. This group is part of Shut Up & Write!, a non-profit organization that supports writers by helping them build regular writing habits in a supportive, community setting. The Springfield group is led by Charlotte Dennison, who recently moved to the area and is working on a horror novel. After finding success with a Shut Up & Write! group in White River, she started this local chapter to help herselfâand othersâstay consistent and make progress. Each session includes quiet writing time with no distractions, plus the chance to connect with other local writers. Whether you're just getting started or already deep into a project, you're welcome here! Special thanks to the Springfield Town Library for generously providing space for this program.
