Invites to our annual Holiday Party will be sent out prior to the event! Our Holiday party is filled with all the fun and friendships of our other year-round programs, but this event opens Camp Ta-Kum-Ta up to not only the campers but also to their families. This event is an afternoon event where campers and their families will have the opportunity to participate in fun activities and connect with other camp friends Population ServedChildren ages up to 17 who have or have had cancer and either live in the State of Vermont or are treated in the State of Vermont, and their families as well as camp’s year-round volunteers and staff. Program Length2:00 – 4:30PM

The 33rd Annual Yankee Sportsman’s Classic is taking place at the Champlain Valley Expo in Essex Junction, VT, on Friday, January 16th, through Sunday, January 18th 2026. This event features hunting and fishing demos, seminars, gear and equipment for purchase, and hands-on activities – all related to hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. This event will have activities such as a kid’s turkey shoot, fishing for Trout, and animal viewings – great for kids and families! Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for children 3-12 years old, and free for kids under 3. Your ticket will give you access to all three days of this event. Tickets can be purchased at the door when you arrive.
