The Pierson Library and the Shelburne Tree Committee invite you to celebrate your appreciation of trees by photographing your favorite tree in town and sharing it with us during the month of May. Simply take a photo of your tree and email it (JPG format) to Jasper at the Pierson Library ([email protected]) with the subject line, “My Favorite Tree in Shelburne.” In your email, please include your name and, and if you’re under 18, your age. Also, add a brief description of the tree’s location along with a caption explaining why the tree is meaningful to you. If you’re unable to email your photo, physical copies may be dropped off at the library. Selected tree photos and descriptions will be displayed in the library for the community to enjoy.
