Join a ranger on a First Day Hike to our beloved Monkey Rock where we will celebrate the arrival of 2026. Difficulty: Easy to moderate, surface will be rocky at timesLength: ~2 milesMeet: Day-use parking lot by the East Trail trailheadBring: Warm layers, sturdy hiking shoes, and water Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. Purchase day passes online ahead of time to guarantee entry.  Registration: No registration is required for this event.
