The Stroke Team at Texoma Medical Center hosts a monthly Stroke Support Group. Stroke survivors and their caregivers are encouraged to attend and hear from speakers who focus on specific stroke-related topics. Meetings are on the third Thursday of every month. TMC is an accredited Level II Primary Stroke Facility (Texas Department of Health Services), a Primary Stroke Center (The Joint Commission) and has earned the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Silver Plus Achievement Award.
