Decorating your home for the holidays is fun and a great way to jump into the Holiday season! Judging of lights will take place on Saturday December 6th starting at 7 PM. Winners will be announced at Orchard Community Christmas (Sunday Dec 7th see below). Awards for First Second and Third places will be given prizes of $150 $100 and $75 and a yard sign will be  placed in each winner&rsquo s yard. Note: Rules effective Christmas 2013&hellip Winner cannot win two years in a  row regardless of any place received.

The annual Christmas Parade will begin at 4:30 PM starting at the Artesian Park (Corner of  Galveston and Sabine). A Whoville theme has been set for this year&rsquo s parade. Decorate your car   truck bicycle golf cart 4-wheeler skateboard wagon tractor stroller or by foot and join in the  festivities! Please be at Artesian Park at 4 PM. The route starts at the corner of Sabine and Galveston Street by the ball field the parade route will go down Sabine to Kibler St. to Missouri  and ends at the starting point at the park. We encourage you to be creative and come have  some fun! Awards for First Second and Third places will be given in the following Divisions  Business Organization/Club & Family/Individual.

Orchard Community Christmas will be held Dec 7th at 5 PM immediately following the parade at  the Pavilion at Artesian Park. Join us for Chill and Corn bread as we gather with neighbors and  friends to celebrate the Holidays. Santa will be joining us to hear your children&rsquo s Christmas  wishes and give them a goodie bag. We will also have Gingerbread houses and cookies to  decorate. Winners of the Christmas Lights & Parade contests will be announced.
