READ WITH A PET is coming to our library!  After Miss Lou-Lou's program today, Skye and her human companion Liane,  will be available to read with and interact with anyone interested in having some good quality time with her.  Here is a quote from the website sponsoring Skye: Pets With A Mission, Inc. (PWAM) is an all-volunteer, charity organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals through interactions with our canine companions. In short what this means is our volunteer teams conduct animal assisted activities (AAA) with individuals at facilities and events where we're invited. Our mission is a VERY large undertaking, so we focus mainly on these areas: Child literacy: We use the R.E.A.D.® program to help children in schools and libraries improve their reading skills. Drop by for Miss Lou-Lou at 4:00 and meet up with Skye after that.  A great afternoon!!
