Celebrate Earth Day and National Park Week by joining Obed Wild and Scenic River’s annual volunteer clean up event on Saturday, April 17. Volunteers should bring water, insect repellent, sun block and wear sturdy shoes. Bags for garbage and recycling, litter pickup sticks and gloves will be provided.NPS staff will be following CDC guidelines and practicing social distancing during the event, and volunteers are encouraged to do so as well. Important components of this include maintaining a six feet distance, or greater than from others. 

Participants should meet at Obed Visitor Center at 208 N. North Maiden Street in Wartburg.
