These events were created to help students and families complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)March 2, 2024 (11 am - 1 pm) - Southwind High School Library Tennessee College of Applied Technology & University of Tennessee*In conjunction with the HBCU Awareness Foundation HBCU College Fair and Educating the Parent on the College ProcessApril 2, 2024 (Time TBD) - University of Memphis LeMoyne-Owen CollegeDuring these workshops, families will receive specialized step-by-step assistance to fill out the FAFSA.Please review the items linked below as you prepare to attend one of the scheduled events. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:The FAFSA is used to determine eligibility for a variety of aid: federal, state, and school-based, as well as grants and scholarships.The sooner the FAFSA is completed, the sooner you can make informed college choices!The priority deadline for TSSAA consideration (state grant money awarded to students while available) is April 15.The TN Promise FAFSA deadline is May 15.
