Classic Book Group, Meeting the third Thursday of each month from 1:30 - 3pm, March, April, and May. Discussing The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Please register for this series on the March 19th date. Join us for our Classic Book Discussion Series, led by retired Distinguished Lecturer Ann Ferrante. Each month, for three months, we will discuss a section of the book. Please contact the library if you would like us to reserve a copy for you.

New Learners: Wednesdays at 1:30pm (for those who would like to learn how to play) *You must be placed on a waitlist and then receive an email before attending this session. Instruction is the first Wednesday of the month and each Wednesday for the remainder of the month. Beginning Monday, January 8th from 2-3:30, we will start a weekly open art studio that will meet every Monday at 2pm. There will be no instructor for this meeting, but you are welcome to bring your own art supplies and work in our cozy library surrounded by books while listening to our 'classical music for studying' playlist. There will be peers here to discuss art with and a weekly time to make progress on your work at your own pace. Any medium is welcome, including watercolor, drawing, charcoal, and acrylics. If you use oil paint, we ask that you use low odor products and bring something to protect our carpeting. We will not be taking registrations, so you are welcome to stop by as much or as little as you wish. We will have space for 10-15 artists each week. Please feel free to stop by or call us at 294-2081 with any questions. We look forward to seeing you soon!
