Members of the public are welcome to attend our Board of Trustees meetings. They usually meet at 6:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month. We post our board minutes from the past year along with our most recent agenda on our Publications page.

2026 Summer Reading Program: Unearth a StoryThis year’s Summer Reading Program features dinosaurs, archaeology, and paleontology. The program is open to all, and anyone can win prizes, but those prizes must be picked up in person. Dates Book Registration & Logging: Sat., June 13 – Sat., August 1Kickoff Event (Open to All): Sat., June 13, 1 p.m.Adult Finale: Thurs., August 6, 1 – 2 p.m.Kids’ Finale: Sat., August 8, NoonYouth (0 – 17 Years Old) Weekly Logs: Every week, kids complete the weekly log or log books online and come in to get a weekly prize.Prizes: 1 prize from the prize cart -AND- 1 ticket for the prize drawing. Prizes will be available starting at the Kids’ Finale on August 8, but kids don’t have to be present to win.Adults (18+ Years Old) Reading Prizes: Every time an adult logs a book, they will get an entry for the grand prize drawing. That’s one entry per book, with no limit on the number of books. They’re automatically entered when we get the logs (either online or on paper). We will draw names, and prizes will be ready starting at the Adult Finale on August 6. Patrons don’t have to be present to win.Other Prizes: Reading Challenge: Adults can pick up a reading challenge sheet from the front desk. Anyone who finishes will win a small prize. Adults have until August 1 to log books and collect prizes.

Summer Reading Program Kickoff with the Wildlands Conservancy

All are welcome to attend as the Wildland Conservancy joins us to kick off our Summer Reading Program. Come meet and learn about local animals!

Plant a Row

On Mondays from June 8 – October 5, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., we’ll accept fresh produce donations for local families in need. We’re working with Plant a Row Lehigh Valley, who will pick up the produce so it can go to good homes.

Dinosaur Stencil Bags

Gr. K-4 will paint dinosaurs onto bags by using stencils. Registration is required.

A Good Yarn

Whether you work with hooks or needles, yarn or thread, you’re welcome to join the club!

Gr. PreK-2 will have a story & activity relating to dinosaur feet. Registration is required.

Creation Station: Worm Farms

Kids in Grades 3 – 6 can enjoy STEAM projects once a month. This month, we’ll learn all about worms and their homes! Registration is required.

Adult Coloring Club

Come in to enjoy this relaxing hobby while chatting together! The library has some supplies, but you’re also welcome to bring your own.

Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt

Gr. 3-5 find hidden dinosaur eggs.

Old Time True Crime

Local storyteller Ellen Flynn returns to share local true crime cases from the 1800s and early 1900s. Hear the stories and examine the evidence of real cases from around the valley. Registration is requested.
