As part of our continued commitment to transparency and collaboration, I’m writing to inform you about upcoming discussions regarding the District’s budget for Fiscal Year 2026–27. We are forecasting financial challenges that will require us to take a close look at how we allocate resources in order to ensure long-term financial stability. To maintain the high quality of education and services we expect, we must thoughtfully evaluate our spending and identify areas where adjustments may be necessary. To continue the conversation and gather input from our broader community, we will host a Community Conversation on: Date: Monday, December 8 Times: 9:30 AM and 6:00 PM Location: Room B226, Strath Haven Middle School This meeting will offer an opportunity to learn more about the budget reallocation process, ask questions, and share feedback. As part of the session, we will hold a panel discussion focused on key areas such as curriculum, personnel, student services, operations, and transportation. These conversations will help inform next steps in our budget planning and ensure that decisions reflect the values and priorities of our community. Your engagement is vital as we work together to ensure our financial resources support the District’s mission and goals.
