The Nonprofit Council is open to executive directors, senior staff or board members of chamber member nonprofit organizations for networking, learning and collaborative opportunities.  Topic:  All About Asking: Major Giving Strategies for Nonprofit Board Members, CEOs, and Development Staff Presenter:  Kathleen Welsh Beveridge, President, Spark Nonprofit Consulting Learn how every member of your  organization, from the CEO, development staff, to board members, can play a role in building a stronger relationships-based development program.  Kathleen will provide practical strategies for asking with confidence, integrating donor asks into everyday fundraising activities, and increasing your overall return on investment. Police Department Recognition Day There are 18 police departments in the Chamber's service area. The Chamber is asking for your sponsorship support to recognize and thank the men and women in blue who work to protect our homes and businesses.   Sponsorship funds will help cover the cost of cookies, brownies, and pretzels delivered to each department. Sponsors will receive their company logo displayed on labels attached to the trays, the opportunity to join The Chamber during deliveries to local police departments, and recognition in a social media reel created during the deliveries highlighting participating sponsors and their support of our local law enforcement community.   Delivery dates will be coordinated with each police department and communicated with sponsors in advance.
