Identification tips such as field marks, behaviors, songs, and calls will be explained and used as we explore the habitats surrounding the nature center. Please bring a field guide and binoculars, or borrow some of ours.

Thank you for your interest! *** RAIN DATE: Sun., 9/6, 11-noon Join Jeff Eckel, Apiary Manager at Carversville Farm Foundation, for an open hive honeybee program at Honey Hollow! Learn how honeybees build wax comb, raise young bees, store honey and pollen, and communicate with one another to keep the colony healthy. Note: While bee stings are unlikely, participants with a known bee allergy are responsible for bringing their prescribed EpiPen (epinephrine auto-injector) or other necessary emergency medication. Advance registration required. Members: $5Non-Members: $10
