Children of all ages are welcome to register for this event. Participants will receive a goody bag for use during the event. This goody bag will contain supplies for a literacy activity, a book, and a small surprise. Supplies are limited and available to the first 36 children who register. Instructions for pickup will be included in your registration confirmation. About the Author   George’s published works include the popular “Who’s Been Here?” books from Greenwillow, “Alfred Digs,” “Maggie’s Ball” and “That Pup!” Lindsay has also coauthored and illustrated Beaver at Long Pond and illustrated Box Turtle at Long Pond. George has received recognition for her books and illustrations from several Pennsylvania organizations. Pennsylvania’s One Book, Every Young Child Project selected “Inside Mouse, Outside Mouse” to launch an early reading initiative in 2006. This book also received selection as the Baker’s Dozen Best Book for Family Literacy from the Pennsylvania Center for the Book in 2004. In 1990, the Pennsylvania Library Association awarded George their Carolyn Field Award. \ \ \ \ \ Fun with Food: Make Your Own Pizza! Saturday, March 13th at 11A.M. Join us as we continue to explore the connection between creativity and wellness. We will be making our own individualized pizza with Katie Gallagher, MS, RDN, LDN, Registered Dietitian, who works as the retail dietitian for our local ShopRite stores. Families can pick up supplies at the library and then cook-along on Zoom from the comfort and safety of your own home. Supplies are limited. This program is open to children of all ages, but children will need help from an adult during the program. Please email chelseabpfl@gmail.com to register for this free event.
