On December 13th, 2025, Gesa Power House Theatre will host ‘Tis the Season. ‘Tis the Season is a festive evening of jazz, rock, and soul renditions of all your favorite holiday classics. Don your holiday best and join us in downtown Walla Walla and kick off the holiday season with some of your favorite local musicians. Blue Mountain Community Foundation (BMCF)is the proud charity sponsor of this year’s ‘Tis the Season holiday concert. All proceeds from ticket sales go directly to Blue Mountain Community Foundation.

This December, on Sunday the 7th and Sunday the 14th, both at 7 PM, Gesa Power House Theatre welcomes EVERDREAM back to the stage for their much-loved show, Celtic Christmas. Everdream is delighted to return to the Gesa Powerhouse Theatre this December! The Celtic group started touring in 2014 and this marks 10 years of Celtic Christmas, which has become somewhat of a tradition for Walla Walla residents! This magical concert will feature much loved Celtic and Christmas classics, including songs by Enya, music from Riverdance, some unique Irish Christmas songs, magical movie songs, toe tapping jigs and reels, and their chart topping version of O Holy Night! Known for their haunting sound, Irish charm, and show-stopping glamour, this show will be a wonderful night out for the entire family. Magical dolls, life-sized mice, dancing snowflakes, and an enchanting kingdom of sweets! Set to Tchaikovsky’s timeless score, the incredible dancing – and dazzling costumes – bring to life the classic story of Clara and her dreamlike adventures with her Nutcracker Prince. The Washington State Youth Ballet’s The Nutcracker will transport audiences of all ages into a wonderland that has become a lasting holiday tradition not to be missed. Gesa Power House Theatre welcomes comedic magician Andy Gross for New Years Eve Comedy on Wednesday, December 31 at 7PM! Andy Gross is one of the hottest stand up comic, magician and ventriloquist working today as evidenced by his sold out shows and devoted following! His videos have over 100 Million views and counting on the internet! He performs over 150 shows a year at comedy clubs, Las Vegas, cruise ships, fortune 500 corporate events, colleges and performing arts theaters everywhere. He is considered one of the best by his peers in the entertainment industry and he will leave you spellbound. You may recognize him from his numerous TV appearances, including most recently The Ellen show and an NBC television special featuring his talents. Andy is multi-talented entertainer that currently combines stand up comedy, magic, and ventriloquism successfully together making him one of the most sought after corporate entertainers in the world. On Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 7PM, Gesa Power House Theatre welcomes Amelia Day and the Cloves! This program is supported, in part, by a grant from the Washington State Arts Commission. This project is also supported in part by Creative West which receives support in part from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. Amelia Day is a folk rock powerhouse entering the conversation with mainstays like Sheryl Crow, Hozier, and Brandi Carlile. Underscoring her carefree melodies with gritty, confessional lyricism and raw, heartfelt delivery, she shares stories of young queer life with an intimacy that makes even new listeners feel familiar. Raised in Washington state, Amelia is deeply influenced by the folk and grunge artists that also found their footing in the overcast forests and slick streets of Seattle (like The Head And The Heart, Fleet Foxes, Nirvana, and again, Brandi Carlile). Mixing elements of her adolescent mixtapes of folk, rock, and jazz, she creates music that plays freely with genre, but is still undeniably “Amelia Day”. Gesa Power House Theatre proudly presents a live cinema screening of Dr Strangelove on Sunday, January 11 at 2PM. This program is supported, in part, by a grant from the ArtsWA.  Seven-time BAFTA Award-winner Steve Coogan plays four roles in the world premiere stage adaptation of Stanley Kubrick’s comedy masterpiece Dr. Strangelove. This explosively funny satire, about a rogue U.S General who triggers a nuclear attack, is led by a world-renowned creative team including Emmy Award-winner Armando Iannucci and Olivier Award-winner Sean Foley. A production from Patrick Myles and David Luff. Based on the motion picture directed by Stanley Kubrick, screenplay by Stanley Kubrick, Terry Southern and Peter George, based on the book ‘Red Alert’ by Peter George. The Gesa Power House Theatre and Walla Walla Chamber Music Festival are proud to welcome the Clarinet Quartet of the U.S.A.F Band of the Golden West for this special patriotic concert on Wednesday, January 14, 2025, at 7PM. This is a FREE to the community event! This program is supported, in part, by a grant from the Washington State Arts Commission. This project is also supported in part by Creative West which receives support in part from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. The Band of the Golden West has performed for gubernatorial inaugurations, with guest artists such as Marvin Stamm, Arturo Sandoval, Bob Hope, and for the fans of San Francisco Giants, Sacramento Kings, and the San Francisco 49ers. In 2023, the Band was honored to perform for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting hosted by President Joe Biden in San Francisco and attended by dozens of presidents and prime ministers from around the world. More recent events include featured performances with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, San Francisco Symphony, and the Tournament of Roses Parade. MSgt Susan Govier, a Colorado native, graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 1999 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance and Arizona State University in 2001 with a Master’s Degree in Music Performance. In the summer of 2001, she auditioned and was selected for assignment to the United States Air Force Heartland of America Band, Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, where she served as clarinetist. Throughout her four assignments, Sergeant Govier’s responsibilities have included Director of Operations and First Sergeant. She has also had the honor of performing for numerous U.S. Presidents and dignitaries.MSgt Randolph Palada is a 2010 graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, San Francisco, CA where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance. In 2012, he received a Master’s Degree in Music Performance with honors from the New England Conservatory of Music, Boston, MA. MSgt Palada was Principal Clarinet of the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra (MA), has held positions with both the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra and the Discovery Chamber Ensemble, was a substitute musician with the San Antonio Symphony, and performed in the Saar Wind Projekt ensemble in Saarbrucken, Germany.SSgt Clarissa Osborn is a 2013 graduate of The University of Oregon, Eugene, OR, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Clarinet Performance. In 2015 she received a Master’s Degree in Clarinet Performance from the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. SrA Osborn held the position as principal clarinet of the Newport Symphony in Newport, OR from 2017-2019, served as clarinetist with the Hollywood Concert Orchestra on their 2017 tour of Japan, and has subbed with symphonies such as the Eugene Symphony in Eugene, OR and the Dearborn Symphony in Dearborn, MI.SSgt Louis Kim is a 2016 graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, San Francisco, CA where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance. In 2018 he received a Master’s Degree from DePaul University, Chicago, IL. His teachers include Luis Baez, Jeff Anderle, Julie DeRoche, and Larry Combs. During his Air Force career, he has musically supported Brigadier General Chuck Yeager’s memorial service, recorded a radio session with the Serbian Jazz Orchestra, and has performed alongside with the Ukraine National Presidential Orchestra and the British Army Band Colchester in Kyiv.
