Community Drop-in Grief Support Group

Drop-in groups are offered twice each month. Join us when you can or when you need support. Groups meet monthly at Lumina on the 4th Monday from 1:00-2:30 p.m. and the 2nd Monday from 5:30-7:00 p.m.

The Family Caregiver Support Group is facilitated by Erin Mitchell, a Licensed Professional Counselor who offers warmth and guidance to caregivers feeling overwhelmed. This support group emphasizes group discussions and sharing experiences.   The Grace Center Family Caregiver Support Group meets weekly on Tuesdays from 2 to 3:30 p.m. It is open to all family caregivers, whether they are using Grace Center’s services or not.  Note: Respite Care is available from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. during the support group. Services are FREE for the duration of the support group. If the individual is not an enrolled participant, we ask that you provide advanced notice so that we can discuss their care needs. Grace Center reserves the right to determine case by case for non-enrolled participants if a person is an appropriate fit for our respite program. Call the Grace Center office at 541-754-8417 to arrange respite services during the support group (which must be done in advance).  The Caregiver support group receives partial sponsorship from the Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments.
