Sponsored by Gresham Ford, the Try Local First events are for all of us to experience our wonderful local businesses and services so we will spend our money in our local economy *first*.  Join us for a deliciously fun evening at the Golden Whisk Candidate Cook Off on Thursday, May 28th from 4:30–6:00pm, at Riegelmann’s Appliance. This friendly cook‑off brings together talented candidates, great food, and our local community for a lighthearted competition that celebrates creativity and connection. You’ll be in great company, over 100 fellow Chamber members and guests will gather to help judge which candidate earns the title of top chef at this year’s Golden Whisk Award.  Enjoy tasting a variety of dishes crafted by our talented Chef’s, each bringing their own creativity and flavor to the competition. After sampling the cuisine, cast your vote for the chef who wins your palate and your applause. Bring your curiosity, your appetite, and your community spirit. Come and join us for a night food and entertainment. Be there for our Club Paesano annual Spring dance. This event is open to the public (21 yrs and older). Our doors open at 5:30pm where you can enjoy a happy hour, followed by our "World Famous" Spaghetti & Meatball Dinner. You'll have a chance to work it all off by dancing the night away with music from the "Sweet Water Band"! You'll be entertained by their vas variety and multiple music genres. We will partner with our charity partner "Paesano bocce Club", to raise money to cover our beautiful bocce courts. This will be a way for us to give back t the community.
