STOCKYARDS COWBOY CHRISTMAS PARADE, OKLAHOMA CITY: The OMC is signed up to participate in Stockyards Cowboy Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 6th! The parade will start at 10:00 a.m. We are asking participants to sign-in between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. to prepare for lineup. .The OMC Parade Coordinator will check us in and receive our parade number. We will not be arriving as a group. Tell them at check point that you are with the Oklahoma Mustang Club. Christmas Decorations for your car is optional, but encouraged. The check-in location is at Lilyfield, 1841 Exchange Avenue, at the NE corner of Pennsylvania and Exchange Avenues. Restrooms will be available at Exchange Avenue Baptist Church. .The parade will head west on Exchange to Agnew, then South on Agnew towards S.W. 14th and S.W. 15th Street. Since tradition features our “Cowboy Santa” at the end of the parade, we ask that NO Santas be at the parade. This way, the children attending can fully welcome the appearance of “Cowboy Santa.”Throwing candy into the crowd is not allowed. However, you are more than welcome to hand-out candy, in an organized manner. This year, Pake McEntire, brother of Reba McEntire, will be the parade’s grand Marshal. Pake is a country artist and accomplished steer roper. The parade will be led by the Slash O Ranch Longhorns, which is sure to be an unforgettable sight. After the parade, enjoy the festive atmosphere, take a picture with Cowboy Santa, shop the unique stores and grab a bite to eat. This wonderful Christmas celebration is sure to be a blast for the whole family.

Each year the Oklahoma Mustang Club supports the ABLE Christmas party by delivering gifts to the clients, gifts they’ve asked Santa for. Each year, Santa delivers these gifts via his Mustang, which he only brings out for this event. Won’t you please help by driving your Mustang to this event! They clients LOVE our Mustangs! ABLE SantaMeet at the On Cue, at 1:15pm, depart 1:30pmoff I-35, exit 113 – HWY77Address is 3601 N. Flood Ave We will be meeting at 1pm, There is a huge warehouse behind On Cue (white building with 2101 on the corner) we will be lining up in their parking lot. Exit the warehouse parking lot turning right onto Tecumseh Drive. Go to the light (Flood Drive) & turn left. Go south on Flood to Acres approximate 2 1/2 mileTurn left at Acres there is a 4 way light with a left turn lane. Once on Acres, approaching the library on the left side you will come to a railroad crossing, please do not STOP on the railroad track for any reason. There is a sign at the crossing stating NO TRAIN HORN. Just pass the crossing there is a stop sign, go straight. Go approximate 1 mile on Acres to Crawford, turning right at stop sign.The ABLE workshop is approximate 2 blocks on the right. Santa will ride in honking his horn in one of our members convertibles as long as the weather is good. FUN ON WHEELS, NORMAN:  This year the club will be going to different car shows to promote both the OMC and the Mustang.  Everyone loves a Mustang!  This month we are going to Coffee and Cars Norman.  This is a monthly show and shine held in the parking lot of the Crest Foods in Norman.  OMC members attending will be awarded Club Participation Points so be sure to find our Fun on Wheels coordinator, VP Ron Hoberling.  See you there!

MUSTANG TOWN CENTER-MUSTANG: The OMC’s monthly meeting is held at the MUSTANG TOWN CENTER in the GREAT ROOM.   You can enter the GREAT ROOM from the west entrance, which is on the back side of the Town Center.  There is a dedicated entrance to the GREAT ROOM.  We usually have about 50 – 80 members and guests attend.  We will also have OMC shirts and other OMC related things for sale from our Club Store at the meeting.  We discuss club business and usually have a “garage session” (information about your Mustang).  When you walk through the parking lot, you’ll swear you were at a car show with all the beautiful Mustangs parked outside.  At the conclusion of the meeting, we go to a local Mustang restaurant for an After Meeting Meal.  So come out and chat with your fellow Mustang’ers and find out what’s going on in the world of Mustangs!
