We are excited to invite you to the  2026 Sidney Homecoming Parade and Bonfire! Join us as we bring our  community and schools together for an evening of Yellow Jacket spirit, fun, and celebration.   Thursday, September 24, 2026   Parade Begins: 7:00 PM   Parade Lineup: 6:30 PM   Bonfire: Following the Parade The parade will showcase our Sidney students, teams, organizations, and community groups as we celebrate Homecoming and what it means to be a Yellow Jacket. The  bonfire will begin immediately following the conclusion of the parade , giving everyone an opportunity to continue the celebration and enjoy the Homecoming spirit together. This event is proudly  sponsored by Sidney Athletics , and we encourage everyone to come out, support our students, and help make this a special night for the entire Sidney community. Bring your family. Bring your friends. Bring your Yellow Jacket spirit! We look forward to seeing you there! THEATRE AUDITIONS ARE HERE!   It’s time for the SHS Drama Department's  first theatre audition of the year! The fall/winter production this year is  A Charlie Brown Christmas This show is considered a  play with music , which means there will be some singing—mostly Christmas carols—but the music does  not  drive the story. The focus is on the acting! If you love acting and would like an opportunity to be part of a production that follows the  exact storyline of the cartoon we all know and love , we would love to see you at auditions! Sign Up:  Sign-up sheets are hanging outside the auditorium doors. Auditions:  September 27, 2026 Time:  Beginning at 1:00 p.m. Sign-Up Deadline:  Monday, September 21, 2026 When you sign up, please make sure you provide an  email address that you check regularly , as that is how audition information will be communicated.
