Think about your favorite bookmark, the one you’re proud to hold in that book you’re reading. Now it’s your chance to make your own bookmark! Patrons of all ages may design and submit their own bookmark for our Bookmark Design Contest. We will print select copies of each patron's bookmark so that you can share your artwork with your people. Let's create together, Ashe County! Submission period begins Monday, November 3, and ends Saturday, December 6. Here are some guidelines to keep in mind: Must be 2D, like drawings, digital art, scanned collages (the library has scanners!), or photos. Must measure 6 inches tall by 2 inches wide. If you'd like a template, you may use the one on this sheet of paper. No copyrighted images or cartoons; personally identifiable information; or explicit content. One submission per person.
