It's SCARY How Many Small Businesses There Are In Your Local Community! -- Join us for a special "Love Your Local Small Business" Networking Event hosted right here at The Dupree House! This is the perfect opportunity to connect, collaborate, and celebrate the incredible entrepreneurs and small businesses that make our town thrive. Whether you own a business, are thinking of starting one, or simply want to support local ventures, everyone is welcome! Come enjoy the elegant, inspiring atmosphere of our historic venue while building meaningful connections.  Date & Time: Friday, February 13, 2026 from 8:30am until 10:00am  Location: The Dupree House 709 S. Third Street, Smithfield, NC  Who: All business owners, community members, and supporters!  Be ready with your :30 elevator pitch to present to the whole group. Our 2026 event will build on Confidence and Courage while understanding the importance of focusing  on Balance, Wellness, and Purpose.   What to Expect:  Inspiring speaker Interactive discussions and skill-building Meaningful networking and peer support A welcoming space to learn, lead, and lift one another This forum brings women together to connect, learn, and grow through shared experiences, meaningful conversations, and collective support.  Whether you are navigating your career, building a business, or leading in your community, Lead Her Ship exists to empower women to take the helm of their own journey and move forward with confidence and courage. Beginning at 9:00AM, attendees will enjoy our vendor fair followed by a catered brunch, and a powerful message from Victoria Ann Stattel.  Vendors will also be available after the event concludes.
