You're Invited to the School of Rock Waxhaw's Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting!   Wednesday, April 29, 2026 4:30 p.m. School of Rock Waxhaw is excited to bring performance-based music education to Union County. They are a music school for students ages 5-105 that teaches vocals, guitar, bass guitar, keyboards and drums. Students perform with their peers on local stages. You're Invited to the Homeward Bound Guesthouse Grand Opening Ceremony!   Grand Opening - Tuesday, May 5th, 2026 11:00 a.m.   Join your Chamber in celebrating the grand opening and ribbon cutting of Homeward Bound Guesthouse! The ribbon cutting will celebrate the launch of Homeward Bound Guesthouse as a community resource for dog welfare education, where workshops and outreach activities will promote safe interactions with dogs and support families interested in fostering. This special event will also recognize the graduation of the first cohort of Homeward Bound Guesthouse interns from the Union County Public Schools internship program. Homeward Bound Guesthouse is located at the back of the property, with the house situated at the end of the driveway; designated parking areas will be marked, and a volunteer will be available to assist and direct guests upon arrival.   The official ribbon cutting ceremony will take place promptly at 12:30 PM.   Light refreshments will be provided, plus complimentary kisses from the resident foster dog!
