Based on member feedback, we’re switching things up a bit! Instead of our usual open, drop‑in format, we’ll be trying a more structured approach to give everyone a chance to be seen and heard. We’ll get started around 8:40 a.m. with brief, 1‑minute introductions from each attendee. Each person will have the opportunity to share about their business, and to keep things fair and moving along, introductions will be timed. We encourage you to come prepared with business cards or any materials you’d like to share. After all introductions are complete, we’ll open things back up for open networking, giving you time to reconnect and follow up with the people you’d most like to work with. Hosted by M.A.R.C.U.S. (Mothers Advocating for Real Change and Unwavering Support) in partnership with the Union County Sheriff’s Office, this awareness walk brings together families, survivors, and community members to honor lives lost to gun violence. Each step represents a life. Each name represents a story. And every voice matters. She helps organizations create interactive, memorable experiences that strengthen communication, leadership, and professional skills.  With a background in marketing, sales, event management, and workforce development, Lauren blends business insight with entertainment to keep audiences engaged from kickoff  to close. We are proud to organize the first Alzheimer’s Awareness Walk in Union County, in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association and the City of Monroe. This premier community event is designed to support caregivers and families navigating Alzheimer’s and dementia by connecting them with valuable local resources, education, and support services. Free to attend and open to the community Attendees will have the opportunity to: Meet local organizations that support caregivers Learn about Dementia care resources available in Union County Connect with others in the community While the event is free, we encourage attendees and community partners to consider supporting the cause through a voluntary donation to the Alzheimer’s Association, or by contributing helpful items such as brain activity puzzles and engagement materials for seniors. These small contributions can make a meaningful difference in supporting individuals living with Dementia and their caregivers. This event is open to caregivers, families, and community members who want to learn more and support Alzheimer’s awareness. Let’s come together to raise awareness and support those impacted by Alzheimer’s in our community.
