Each Wednesday evening, Rabbi Bronstein leads a tour of the “Par’shat Hashavua,” the Torah portion of the week.  The class will look at plot, themes, language, poetry, theology, history, and of course, commentary. The class is intended to be stimulating for the adept AND a worthwhile learning experience for novices, including non-Hebrew readers. We will meet in person as well as via Zoom. ZOOM LINK

This support group, sponsored by Refu’at HaNefesh (Healing of the Spirit), will focus on the challenges of being single in a couple’s world. If you are single, divorced, separated, or widowed and would like to connect with others for mutual support, please join us. Group sizes are limited to foster open communication and will be led by a facilitator. The number of sessions will be determined by the group. Our Chevra is dedicated to making sure that you are not alone with your thoughts and feelings by providing support, resources, and education. Please be advised that this group will be facilitated by a member of the Chevra. The role of the facilitator is to make sure that the sessions run smoothly and cooperatively in a manner that allows all members of the group to participate and support one another. If you feel you need professional support, we will be happy to refer you. THIS SESSION IS FULL. The Adult Bible Study class invites both in-person and online participation in our study of themes raised by the Book of Leviticus. No prior participation in the class or knowledge of text or Hebrew required. All texts are in English. All are welcome to attend one or more sessions. Led by congregant teachers, the group reads and discusses one or more books of the Bible each year, its literary merit, its story and historicity, its place in the Biblical canon, etc.   Most Sundays, 10:00 – 11:30 AM.   Please email David Badain to register for in-person attendance and/or for the Zoom link.
