Are you in need of some food inspiration? Get the whole family involved in the kitchen with this kid-friendly cooking program! Gather together in the library with a handful of simple ingredients and get ready to create a tasty snack together with children’s librarian Ms. Lisa. December 8 - Chicken Pot Pie Soup THIS EVENT IS FOR KIDS IN KINDERGARTEN-5TH GRADE ONLY. NO YOUNGER SIBLINGS ARE PERMITTED. This event is a drop off event. The Rye Free Reading Room cannot guarantee an allergen free atmosphere and library staff do not oversee food for potential allergens. This program may involve ingredients such as dairy, nuts, tree nuts, soy, or other allergens. Those with severe allergies should be aware that allergens may be present in the library. These sensory friendly boxes will be filled with open-ended activites, materials aimed to boost fine and gross motor skills, and games to enhance problem-solving and decision-making skills through experimentations with different objects.Each month we will have a brand new bin to play with!
